Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

We learn how to source our emotional experiences to identifiable thoughts and behaviors, and in doing so, create a valuable space of opportunity to respond differently than we previously have. CBT helps create new insights and learning that empower the individual to mindfully respond to their experiences adaptively, instead of reacting to them maladaptively.

CBT helps us to identify your personal cognitive distortions (“thinking traps)” and core beliefs (internalized, negative, unhelpful messages), each notably contributing to your overall response to a distressing or difficult situation.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the most researched therapeutic intervention.

CBT primarily targets the inter-connected relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By breaking down these foundational components, we can begin to interface with each element with greater awareness and autonomy.
